College of Education

The College of Education, a teacher-education program is committed to produce Salettinian formators who are competent in their fields of specialization geared towards, quality, relevance and excellence and who are capable of fostering the spirit of Christian service to the community and bear witness to the Gospel truths by their lives, attitudes and examples.

Specifically, it aims to produce: 

  1. graduates or teachers who are equipped with teaching competencies and mastery of content, skills and values which are geared towards the attainment of the DepED’s thrust in basic education;
  2. graduates or teachers who value continuing education and self-renewal as well as continuous learning in response to the demands of industry and modern information technology for global competence and competitiveness; and
  3. graduates or teachers who are imbued with the Salettinian spirituality of Penance, Prayer and Zeal and manifest proper attitudes and values in the exemplification of moral virtues, such as discipline, honesty, obedience, and social responsibility, fortitude and others, with Christ, the unique teacher as the model and source of Grace.
