Admission Policies

 

Introduction

Your admission to the University of La Salette, Inc. is a privilege. The school will admit or re-admit students who meet it’s admission requirements. Your admission binds you to its rules, regulations and traditions.

General Policies on Admission and Retention

  1. The University adopts an "open admission/selective retention" policy in admitting students as long as they meet the minimum requirement for entrance to the tertiary level. Students are also expected to observe the particular admission/retention policies of the university, to which they belong, abide by the academic and non-academic rules and regulations of the university, uphold the Catholic tradition and contribute to the attainment of the schools mission, philosophy and goals.
  2. The University reserves the right to refuse admission to applicants due to limitation of school facilities, poor academic performance, lack of moral fitness, violation of school rules and regulations, unresolved pending criminal case.
  3. A student is "officially enrolled" only after he/she has complied with all the following conditions:
    • Submission of complete requirements
    • Passing all the required examination
    • Payment of necessary school fees and provision for further payment if needed
    • Compliance with other requirements of the specific college applied for
  4. A student must comply with the minimum residence requirements of one academic year with minimum semestral load of 18 units including Religious Education subject. Special cases may be referred to the Commission of Higher Education.
