La Salette celebrated its 16th year of existence as university at the New Gymnasium on June 25, 2014. The celebration was spearheaded by the School Administration, Department of Student Service and Affairs and the Student Executive Council. It started with the flag raising ceremony and a customary thanksgiving mass presided by the Vice President for Student Service and Affairs, Rev. Fr. Stevan Munar, M.S. Afterwards, the University President, Fr. Franlklin G. Picio, M.S. PhD. welcomed both the new and old students with a warm message.

To give life to the celebration, a Search for Most Informative and Creative Office was held. It aims to showcase talent, creativity and ingenuity of students, faculty and staff by redecorating their respective offices using indigenous materials. As a result, the College of Education, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Engineering and Architecture and Office of Human Development Center emerged as winners.

As a tradition, the afternoon of the same day served as a time of the essence of camaraderie and warm welcome to new students on their respective college through an Acquaintance Party.
