University President

The University’s former Vice President for Finance, Rev. Fr. Franklin G. Picio, MS, is the new president of ULS. He was born on August 15, 1955, at Aurora, Isabela where thirty years later, he was ordained to the priesthood on March 9, 1985.

Fr. Frank is the current Regional Director of the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP), the Assistant Regional Director of the Fund Assistance for Private Education (FAPE), Education Service Contracting (ECS) Program and the Treasurer of Missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette Ina ng Pag-Asa Province. Although he has been serving the University for 26 years, he still finds presidency a challenging job. The challenges that he has been encountering have only made him more optimistic as he works with dedication and passion towards the vision of the La Salette community.
