Our new Vice President for Finance, Fr. Danny’s priestly assignments include a year at St. Matthew Parish, San Mateo, Isabela, two years at St. James the Apostle Parish, Santiago City, two years in the Holy Rosary Parish, Jones, Isabela and four years in Our Lady of La Salette Parish, Roxas, Isabela. After nine years of ministry in the province, he was assigned and transferred to Hawaii to St. Joseph Parish, Waipahu, Hawaii for five years and Saint Therese Parish, Kekaha, Hawaii for two years. After his Hawaiian stint, Fr. Galang returned to the Philippines to face another ministry – that of university administration. When asked how he finds his ministry, he said, “So far, so good. I am learning new things.”
Hard work, discipline, and patience have been his principles in life. His dream for ULS is to be the number one university not only in the region but in the entire Philippines, as well. He believes that his dream is possible if the university strives hard. Fr. Danny values education because he had experienced good and hard times as a student and succeeded. His life is an inspiration to use, students. Fr. Galang was born on July 5, 1966, at Ramon, Isabela to Carlito Galang and Teodora Corpuz. He was ordained on March 30, 1996, in his home parish of San Roque in Ramon, Isabela.
